General Information

All Pajaro Dunes Resort rental properties have fully equipped kitchens including a microwave, “Mr. Coffee” coffee maker, dishwasher and washer and dryer appliances.  The homes are supplied with linens, bath towels, cookware, silverware, dishes, standard bowls and cooking utensils.  Pajaro Dunes Resort provides dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, & garbage bags.  You may request additional supplies at our office if needed.

The newspaper will be available for pick up in our office throughout your stay.  We have a selection of DVD’s & VHS tapes located in our lobby that can be checked out at no charge; 3 per guest. Sports Equipment is also available in our lobby; this includes volleyball, basketball, badminton and tennis equipment.

Fireplaces and BBQ’s

Shorebird and Pelican Condominiums only allow pressed wood logs and Durflame logs in the fireplace. Duraflame logs are available for purchase in our Gift Store. Driftwood may not be burned under any circumstance. Be certain that the flue is in the open position before lighting the fire. Pajaro Dunes Resort rental properties may be furnished with a propane BBQ. Most of the barbecues use a 1 pound propane canister.  Although you may use what is left in the canister, we do not provide them.  You may bring your own propane or purchase it at our gift shop. For more information on our vacation rental homes, please email us at info@pajarodunes.com. You may also check this website or phone us for barbecue information on the beach homes and townhouses.

Bonfires are allowed, only in a contained fire pit, such as a small “Smokey Joe” style barbecue; something that elevates the bonfire off of the sand.  Never bury ashes!  Bonfires cannot be planned in advance between the months of November 15th and March 15th, for there is very little beach along with unpredictable surf. Please phone the Ranger’s station @ 831-763-7064 for any restrictions; bonfires are not allowed during the nesting of the Snowy Plovers.

Suggested Things to Bring

Bring your personal toiletries including hair dryers.  Warm and cold weather clothing is suggested, as the weather on the coast can be unpredictable.

You will also need to bring your own food, condiments & spices; i.e. salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, foil, wax paper, coffee fitters, (Mr. Coffee style is most popular).  Large mixing bowls, serving ware or additional cookware is suggested if you are hosting large meals.
