General Information
Items Provided for our Vacation Rental Guests
All Pajaro Dunes Resort rental properties have fully equipped kitchens including a microwave, “Mr. Coffee” coffee maker, dishwasher, and washer and dryer appliances. The homes are supplied with linens, bath towels, cookware, silverware, dishes, standard bowls and cooking utensils. Pajaro Dunes Resort provides dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, and garbage bags. You may request additional supplies at our office if needed.
A complimentary San Jose Mercury newspaper will be available in our office throughout your stay. We have a selection of DVDs & VHS tapes available in our lobby that can be checked out at no charge; 3 per guest. Sports Equipment is available in our lobby; this includes volleyball, basketball, pickleball, boogie boards, badminton and tennis equipment.
Fireplaces
Shorebird and Pelican Point condominiums may be furnished with an electric or regular fireplace. Please be sure to review with the Reservations Team what type of fireplace is equipped in your vacation rental. Only pressed wood logs and Duraflame logs are allowed in the regular fireplaces. Duraflame Logs are available in our Lobby Gift Store. Driftwood may not be burned under any circumstance. Be certain that the flue is in the open position before lighting the fire. Directions for the Electric Fireplace are located in the Guest Binder.
Barbecues
Vacation Rentals may be furnished with a BBQ. Please be sure to review with the Reservations Team if a BBQ is provided at the vacation rental you selected. Some homes provide BBQs that use the 1-pound propane canisters. Although you may use what is left in the canister, we do not provide the small propane tanks. You may bring your own propane or purchase them at our Lobby Gift Store. Charcoal barbeques are not allowed on the condominium patio decks. If your Vacation Rental provides a Full-Size Propane Tank style BBQ, the propane is provided. If you run out, please call our office and we can replenish this for you. Some of the Beach Houses have Charcoal BBQs; we do not provide charcoal. Please allow ashes to cool in the fireplace, BBQ and Bonfire pits. These areas are designed to contain their heat safely. Let the fire burn out naturally and our team will clean and dispose of the ashes safely.
Beach Bonfires
Bonfires are only allowed in State Park provided pits. Never bury ashes! We have Bonfire Services & S’mores Kits available per request. Please call our office if you would like more information. Please phone the Ranger’s station at 831-763-7064 for any restrictions. Bonfires are not allowed during the nesting of the Snowy Plovers, or between November 15th and March 15th as there is very little beach during the winter along with unpredictable tide and surf.
Suggested Items to Bring
Bring personal toiletries, including hair dryers. Warm and cold weather clothing is suggested, as the weather on the coast can be unpredictable. Your kitchen is fully equipped. Make sure to bring your favorite condiments, spices, and Coffee filters. Mr. Coffee filter style is the most popular. Large mixing bowls, serving ware or additional cooking ware is suggested if you are hosting large meals. Forgot Something?
Our Lobby Gift Store is available in our Check In Office. We have freshly brewed coffee, along with your daily newspaper. Our Gift Store has groceries, items for breakfast, sundries, toiletries, your favorite beach gear, beer, local wines and champagnes, and much more. Come visit us in our Lobby Store from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.
